400 hp with biomethane for a record Cupra
The environmental advantages of methane don’t mean renunciation: it is demonstrated by the extraordinary experience of conversion to natural gas carried out for Snam4Mobility on a Cupra Ateca. The result obtained in the test rooms is a 400 hp engine at 6440 rpm and a torque of over 510 Nm. These performances make the car incredibly fast in acceleration, with consumption values and operating costs comparable to a common city car.

Thanks to our contribution, industrial engines used in the heaviest working situations can also use environmentally friendly alternative fuels for their daily activities. The establish of biomethane has led us, for example, to develop a complete line of solutions for agricultural mechanization. The need to extend the ‘green’ concept to activities in ports and inter-ports has pushed us to realize applications for specific means of handling. And the challenge to ‘color in green’ the heaviest and most powerful vehicle continues!

Requalification for a sustainable tourism
Eliminate particulate emissions, nullify carbon dioxide emissions and promote a sustainable tourism model: with our biomethane retrofit, “Fondazione FS Italiane” can now use again the renewed ALN 668 railcars, the backbone of regional transport on non-electrified lines starting from the 1950s.

Biomethane takes off
To promptly intervene on the lagoon network while protecting the delicate ecosystem of Venice, Italgas (a leading company in Italy in the distribution of natural gas) called upon us, together with Cantiere Lizzio, to develop the largest service boat ever converted to methane, allowing a significant reduction of CO2 and nitrogen as well as the abatement of particulate matter.

The growing variety of non-fossil fuels of biological or synthetic origin creates a strong demand for technological solutions to produce energy. In addition to Diesel Dual Fuel, we offer transformations of diesel engines into omnivorous gas engines, capable of burning alternative fuel by replacing diesel at 100%. Using syngas (biomass pyrolysis gas) you get a solution that can interact in an evolved way even with the gas production plant itself.
Methanol generators for the Israeli market
Not only biomethane: with the project commissioned by a well-known Israeli group active in the world of energy distribution, Ecomotive Solutions has successfully developed a series of generators powered by 100% methanol (methyl alcohol), originally fueled by diesel.
