Hybrid engines, in the mild Hybrid, plug-In Hybrid and Full Hybrid variants, represent the most concrete and immediate proposal of the manufacturers to the request for electrification of vehicles as an exit strategy from endothermic engines.
However, there are specific sectors where it is still complicated, if not disadvantageous, to embrace the philosophy of electric: for example the world of heavy vehicles and special vehicles, which have to travel along urban and extra-urban roads, feeding specific equipment with only the internal combustion engine. Today the weight of the vehicles and the operation of the fittings still require the use of a diesel propulsion, the only one capable of sustaining performance and guaranteeing the coexistence of these vehicles in the urban context.
Applied to this sector, the hybrid contribution allows to maintain performance and improve the environmental impact in terms of emissions and pollution.
Known for its Diesel Dual Fuel platform, which allows less ecological diesels to be saved from scrapping by fueling them with a dynamic mixture of diesel and natural gas, Ecomotive Solutions inaugurates a new 'phase' in its history by facing a new challenge for the application of hybrid electric technology for transport.
In fact, Ecomotive Solutions acts as a 360-degree partner, not excluding any transformation methods, including bifuel and full gas conversions, to satisfy the most varied requests for optimization.
Speaking of hybrid, the experience of a new partner who has recently joined the Ecomotive family weighs heavily on the innovative retrofit applications: he is Mariano Negri, an entrepreneur from Campania who has been involved for over twenty-five years in the design and construction of engines and solutions for the automotive and marine industry.
The company commented with satisfaction:
"With Mariano Negri we share the idea of a sustainable future for the world of motors. His competence allows Ecomotive Solutions to strengthen and propose itself with even more concreteness on the industrial level ".
Mariano Negri boasts a vast experience in the design and production of engines and components of endothermic engines gained with CMD Costruzioni Motori Diesel; the company with offices in Caserta and Potenza, of which he is CEO, will be able to offer integrated solutions and large-scale production by exploiting its industrial plants.
Mariano Negri, who is also vice president of the Anfia Components Group, National Association of the Automotive Industry Sector, states: "My entry into the board of Ecomotive Solutions is the natural consequence of the interest I have for its projects, all essentially linked to two important issues: the circular economy and the energy transition. I am convinced that Ecomotive will very soon be a reference player at national level, and beyond, for everything related to sustainability ".
Riccardo Barbero, a manager with recognized international experience in the automotive industry, sits on the Board of Directors to represent the new shareholder of Ecomotive Solutions. He shares the Monferrato origins with the Deregibus family and represents the trait d'union between the historical owners and the new partner.
